Occupational Safety & Health
To promote OSH education and provide a safe and comfortable environment to staff, occupants and visitors, an Occupational Safety and Health Policy has been adopted to ensure staff’s compliance with legal obligations in this aspect, as well as understand the importance of following proper procedures when undertaking potential hazardous tasks. With a view to applying the notion of OSH in daily operations and raise staff’s awareness of its effective protection to health and life; training courses catered to meet the needs of various positions are also provided, including the usage of protective equipment, chemical handling, manual handling, risk assessment and working guidelines.
The Occupational Safety and Health Committee has been set up to monitor and evaluate the implementation of company’s safety policy as well as to ensure the working environment fulfilling the safety standard with a view to achieving the target of “zero” occupational injury. Besides, a certain number of the Citybase-managed properties have been awarded "Excellent Performance for Safe and Healthy Estate" Certificates in The Hong Kong Safe and Healthy Estate Accreditation Scheme, which being the highest accolade of the Scheme. |
