Citybase proactively promotes environmental protection. An environmental code of practice and an environmental policy statement have been issued to staff – clear guidelines have been set to promote a "Green Office" and staff are encouraged to save resources. Our managed properties include Kingswood Villas, Laguna City, The Center and Concordia Plaza have implemented environmental protection policies and have been recognized and awarded with the "Hong Kong Energy Efficiency Registration Scheme for Buildings" certificates by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department.

In addition, The Pacifica has received the "Champion of Big Units Cuts Award" in the Power Smart Competition organized by Friends of the Earth (HK) and The Center has received "Certificate of Merit in Green Property Management Award (Commercial & Industrial Buildings)" in Hong Kong Eco-Business Awards organized by the Environmental Campaign Committee. These awards recognize our effort in promoting environmental protection.

Citybase organizes "green" activities, such as recycling campaigns, tree planting, and hobby farming, as well as staging seminars and exhibitions in conjunction with environmental groups from time to time, with the aim of promoting environmentally-friendly practices and green living.
